James Gilmore will help us kick things off on the first day of our marketing conference!
James is a renowned expert in the field of experience design and experiential marketing. He and Joseph Pine co-authored, "the Experience Economy", which we have discussed many times in the boardroom and at previous conventions. Gilmore’s ideas have been featured in numerous articles on business strategy and innovation for such publications as the Harvard Business Review, the Wall Street Journal, and Investors Business Daily, among others. He is also co-editor of Markets of One: Creating Customer-Unique Value through Mass Customization (Boston: Harvard Business School Press, 2000). Earlier this year, I connected with Joseph Pine and this led to the idea of having one of them present at a Gray Line convention.
